How a visit works

Book or walk in
Send a WhatsApp message or call us. For plain X-Ray, sonography and plain CT you can simply walk in.
Register at reception
Bring your prescription and any old films. Registration and billing take a couple of minutes.
Your scan
A trained technician performs the study. Dr. Mate performs all sonography himself and checks every scan before you leave.
Collect your report
Printed report with films or CD, and a digital copy sent to your WhatsApp. Routine reports are ready the same day.
The radiologist behind every report
Dr. Mate trained at MIT Pune, took his MD in Radiology at JJ Hospital Mumbai as Gold Medallist of MUHS, and holds the DNB, FRCR Part 2A, EDiR, MICR, DICR and MNAMS, with Fetal Medicine Foundation (UK) certification. He founded Veda Diagnostic Centre so that patients in Bajajnagar would not have to travel into the city for a scan, or wait days for a report written by someone they will never meet. Across nine years more than 60,000 studies have been performed at Veda, and he still performs every sonography himself.

Your reports, whenever you need them
Every study done at Veda is archived digitally. Registered patients can open the patient portal and download reports and images using the MRD number and mobile number printed on their bill. Lost your film years later? We can re-issue it.

Questions patients ask
Do I need an appointment?
For a plain X-Ray or plain CT you can walk in at any hour — those run 24 hours, every day. Sonography runs 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and is best booked, since Dr. Mate performs every scan himself. MRI, contrast studies and CBCT should be booked in advance so the slot and any preparation are ready.
How soon will I get my report?
Routine reports are ready the same day and most sonography reports are handed over immediately after the scan. Emergency CT and MRI are reported within the hour.
Do you disclose the sex of the baby?
No — never. Prenatal sex determination is a criminal offence under the PCPNDT Act, 1994. This centre is registered under the Act and complies with it fully.
Can I get my report online?
Yes. A digital copy is sent to your WhatsApp, and registered patients can download reports and images from the patient portal using the details printed on their bill.
Do you accept corporate and camp cases?
Yes. We maintain separate rate cards for camps, corporate tie-ups and staff, and issue consolidated monthly statements for credit accounts.
What should I bring with me?
Your doctor's prescription, all previous films and reports, and a photo ID. For pregnancy scans, bring your antenatal card and the date of your last menstrual period.
